About
Alon was born in Tel Aviv in 1980; as a son of a diplomat, Alon was raised in Israel, Italy and France. Since a very early age he was traveling around the world and was influenced by different cultures. After living for nine years in Hong Kong and six years in Belgium, he moved back and currently lives and works in Israel.
Alon’s passion for photography began in 2001 during his first trip to South East Asia and since he has pursued his passion for exploring wild places. Alon has photographed in nearly 55 countries to date and his work has been published in his book "Hong Kong" and other print media like "Masa Olami" (Israel) and "360" (Norway)
Having had multiple solo exhibitions in many locations including Israel, Belgium, Mexico and Hong Kong, Alon developed a unique style, which is conveyed and can be seen in all of his current work
As a part of his voluntary work Alon photographed weekly childhood activity of kid’s memories at an Israeli infant’s institution. Alon donated prints of his work to various auction houses and support different causes including: Hong Kong (JWA), “Magen David Adom” charity Hong Kong, “United Israel appeal”, “The Hong Kong Holocaust and Tolerance Centre” (HKHTC), “King George V school” Hong Kong, kids with special education needs
